This article describes how to use a FreeSpace IZA 2120-HZ as a dual mono amplifier without ControlCenter remote control panels connected to the amplifier. This allows either source A or B to be routed to either Zone 1 or Zone 2.
- FreeSpace IZA 2120-HZ
The dual channel configuration requires setting the REMOTE 1 CONTROL DIP switch to ZONE 1 and the A/B SELECT DIP switch to REMOTE.
- For a fixed output Volume Level (Output Level Adjusted by the Zone Output Trim), install a 10k Ohm resistor between the Power and Vol connectors on REMOTE 1 and REMOTE 2.
- For a fixed Input Selection (Always Input A), use a wire jumper to short the A/B pin to the COM pin.
- For a fixed Input Selection (Always Input B), leave the A/B pin to the COM pin open – no connection.
